2009 Gold Pen Awards
It’s been a tough year for the nation, and probably your company, and you have worked hard to create and implement communications projects sharing your company’s vision,motivating your fellow employees, and moving your business forward. The 2009 Back to the Basics Gold Pen Awards Gala was held Thursday night, September 17th, at the Listening Room with manyNashville communication professionals taking home Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards for their stunning works. Also, honored were IABC members and nonmembers contributing to the success of the communication industry and our IABC Nashville Chapter.The most coveted award from IABC Nashville, the Communication Life Achievement Award, was presented to John Van Mol, the Chief Executive Officer, DVL PR in Nashville, and many other awards were announced. Mary Hance, Ms. Cheap from The Tennessean, gave a very entertaining presentation. She was true to her name, Ms Cheap, as she explored all of the things communicators could do in the metro area for very cheap.
